Dr Kevin Philips
Clinical Fellow in Abdominal Radiology | NHS Leeds, UK & UHN Toronto, Canada
Dr Kevin Philips is a Clinical Fellow specialising in Abdominal Radiology, with a passion for bridging the gap between clinical practice, academia (education and research), and leadership through industry innovation. He has published in leading radiology journals and presented at major national and international conferences. Currently, he is undertaking a Clinical Radiology fellowship at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds NHS Trust, followed by an Advanced Abdominal Imaging fellowship at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, University of Toronto, Canada.
As an educational leader, Dr. Philips represents UK trainees in the British Institute of Radiology’s AI and Innovation section and serves on the Advisory Panel for the BIR’s Online Learning Library. His commitment extends to his role at the International Imaging Congress (IIC), where he is the current Chair of the IIC AI Learning Hub and serves as a mentor in the IIC Industry Partner Apprentice Programme. Dr. Philips is committed to advancing patient care and the radiology community in alignment with the future direction of the NHS.

Dr Dilan Sanli
ST3 Radiology Registrar, University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Dilan Sanli is a Clinical Radiology Resident at University Hospital Southampton and a Clinical Al Fellow at Guys and St Thomas University Hospital.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Dilan is an advocate for international medical graduates, creating social media content and delivering talks on career pathways for doctors in the UK. She has taken on multiple leadership roles, including co- founding the Turkish Doctors in the UK community and organizing the second annual symposium in March 2025. With a strong interest in digital health, Dr. Dilan is actively contributing to advancements in Clinical Al, helping shape the future of radiology and healthcare technology.

Dr Ahmed Maiter
Radiology Registrar & Research Fellow
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals & NIHR Sheffield Biomedical Research Centre
Dr Maiter is an ST4 academic radiology resident in Sheffield whose research focuses on evaluating commercial AI devices for radiology, including benchmarking performance across vendors. As the inaugural BIR AI Fellow, he has gained industry experience with Bayer plc around AI selection, regulation and platforms. A member of the RCR's Clinical Radiology AI Faculty, he also contributes to the development and delivery of AI education at a national level. He frequently peer reviews AI manuscripts for journals and serves on the trainee editorial board of Radiology: Artificial Intelligence.

Dr Sonam Vadera
Clinical AI Fellow and ST5 Radiology Registrar

Dr Sonam Vadera is a Radiologist, Clinical AI Fellow and a Member of the Royal College of Radiologists’ Clinical AI Faculty. She recently completed a Fellowship in Clinical AI hosted by the AI Centre for Value Based Healthcare, and continues to hold an ongoing post as a Clinical AI Fellow at University Hospitals of Birmingham, working with Associate Professor Xiao Liu and Professor Alastair Denniston.
Dr Vadera’s work focuses on the safe integration of AI technologies into clinical workflows and AI safety monitoring, particularly in the post-market surveillance phase. She is involved in research that examines the regulation, clinical implementation, validation, and post-deployment performance of AI-enabled medical devices.
She is also leading research on whether and how LLMs should be regulated as medical devices. Additionally, she works with the West Midlands Health Tech Innovation Accelerator, providing guidance and support to SMEs at different stages of entering the health tech market.
Her experience has given her first-hand insights into the regulatory and implementation challenges of AI in healthcare, while allowing her to develop practical problem-solving skills and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to navigate the complexities of integrating AI into clinical practice.

Dr Aditya Kale
Academic Clinical Fellow and Doctoral Researcher
University of Birmingham
Dr. Adi Kale is a Radiologist, NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow, and Doctoral Researcher in the West Midlands. His primary research area is the evaluation and regulation of AI as a Medical Device, with a specific focus on post-market surveillance. Dr Kale has been an advisor to the MHRA Software Group, informing regulation and policy, and has engaged with regulators such as the CQC on AI safety monitoring and incident reporting. Dr. Kale worked for two years at DEMAND HUB, an innovation accelerator, where he supported SMEs in the medical technologies market. Finally, Dr Kale is also actively involved in educational programs, including supervising AI Fellows and leading an annual AI regulation and evaluation workshop for the NHS Fellowship in Clinical AI.

Dr Jade Scott-Blagrove
Interventional Radiology Registrar (ST5)

Jade Scott-Blagrove is an Interventional Radiology Registrar (ST5) in Cambridge who balances her clinical work with several leadership roles in medical advocacy and education. She founded the Widening Participation Medics Network (WPMN) in 2020 whilst working as an F2 in A&E and later co-founded RadReach in 2021 as a radiology ST1. Her dedication to widening participation in medicine led her to join the National Medical Schools Widening Participation Forum (NMSWPF) where she is involved in its postgraduate specialist interest group.
In 2024, Jade took on key leadership roles in interventional radiology, becoming Chair of the British Society of Interventional Radiology Trainees' Special Interest Group and a member of the European Trainee Forum within the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE). She was also elected to the Royal College of Radiologists' Specialty Training Board where she contributes to the standards, entry processes, curriculum and assessment in radiology training.
Jade continues to advocate for inclusivity and accessibility in her medical leadership roles whilst managing the demands of clinical work.

Dr Muhammad Khan
Clinical Radiology Registrar & RadCast Co-Founder
North West School of Radiology & RadCast
Dr Muhammad Khan (FRCR) is a Senior Clinical Radiology Registrar, NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow and Co-Founder of RadCast, a MedEd bootstrapped initiative which gives radiologist's a voice through our monthly podcasts and bite size radiology educational resources and courses. To date, the podcasts have amassed over 86,000 unique listeners worldwide which has included prominent individuals such as the RCR President and the Co-Founder of Radiopedia. Most recently, they have developed the Roentgen competition, the first radiological anatomy competition and have developed bespoke digital courses to support candidates throughout their journey into a career in radiology.

Dr Rebecca Fraser
Radiology Registrar ST1
Rebecca is a radiology registrar in the East Midlands deanery, with a strong background in medical education and surgery. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons. Rebecca studied at Cardiff University Medical School and completed her Foundation Training at University Hospitals of Leicester. She then worked as a Clinical Education Fellow at George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton, before gaining further experience as a Core Surgical Trainee in Leicester. She now lives just outside the city with her husband and young son.

Dr Julia Diamond

I am ST5 radiology registrar based at the Belfast City Hospital in Northern Ireland with subspeciality interests in gastrointestinal and gynaecology imaging. I have a strong interest in radiology training and teaching and hold a post graduate diploma in medical education. Following completion of training I am undertaking a Gastrointestinal fellowship at St Jame’s University Hospital, Leeds.

Dr Gareth Davies

Gareth is a 4th year radiology registrar based in Northern Ireland. Following completion of an undergraduate degree in Religious and Theological Studies at Cardiff University he pursued medical training at Queen’s University Belfast completing foundation training in the Northern Ireland deanery. He subsequently gained a place on the Northern Ireland radiology training scheme, gaining admission as a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in March 2025. His specialist interests centre on musculoskeletal radiology as well as emergency radiology and medical education. Gareth has a particular interest in cross-discipline learning and has recently undertaken training at Leiden University Medical Centre as part of a collaborative research project with rheumatology colleagues.

Dr Bukola Ogunjinmi

I am a radiology ST3 in the Wessex deanery and will be going into subspecialty training in IR. I enjoy teaching anatomy, 5K runs and baking.
